張華簡介
現居台灣，退休工程師，業餘翻譯，
從1980年起，自習英中翻譯、參加Toastmasters
International、蒐集愛麗絲資料迄今。
台灣翻譯學學會終身會員、英國Institute
of Linguistics授證翻譯師，
曾獲金石堂英翻中比賽社會組首獎、梁實秋文學獎譯文組及譯詩組各第二名。
業餘曾任《美國新聞與世界報導》中文版資深編輯、《讀者文摘》中文版翻譯及
《麥克米倫高級英漢雙解詞典》等四本英漢辭典編輯、
為Toastmasters主持編譯十本中文版手冊、發表過英漢詞典、雙關語翻譯、
愛麗絲與趙元任等論述多篇，近年為《讀者文摘》中文版譯者。
2010.2.26付梓第一本譯著『挖開兔子洞：深入解讀愛麗絲漫遊奇境』及《愛麗絲鏡中棋緣》註釋版

resident of Taiwan, a retired engineer, and an amature translator.
He
has served as senior editor for the Chinese version of US News and World
Report, translator
for the Chinese Reader's Diggest, and editor of four English-Chinese
dictionaries.
He
is also the author of the Chinese annotated Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
and Through the Looking-Glass.
