FLOWERS ☆ FIREWORKS

under the faint starlight

a crowd of flowers on the ground

raised their innocent faces toward the sky

and watched with sparkling eyes

the splendid fireworks

highlighting colorful city life

in the dark

the flowers did not see

the sadness and loneliness

of the fireworks

burnt and spent

falling to the ground
