thousands of days of mutual respect erect this scaling ladder of love

let those who want to enter

the freedom to climb up

those who want to leave

the freedom to go down

Note: In his novel A Besieged City, Mr. Qian Zhongshu referred to marriage as a besieged city, saying those who are without want to rush in, while those within want to get out.
