連測謊器

都臉不紅氣不喘

說起謊來了

畢竟

人類無法消受

政客們的肺腑之言

「投我一票

我計劃加你們的稅

還要用你們這些蠢驢們

想都想不到的辦法

養肥我那批酒肉朋友」

或不忠丈夫的招供

「我回來晚了，親愛的

因為我去外頭打野食

還有，老實說

我一看到你就心煩」

如仍不信

請回答女士們常提出的這個問題﹕

「這衣服是否讓我看起來有點發胖？」

附注﹕根據麻省大學社會心理學教授RobertS.Feldman將近二十年的調查研究，人們對說謊習以為常。從大學生的談話錄音裡，他發現男女學生每十分鐘平均說三個謊。但男女說謊的動機大不相同。女人經常說或同意一些言不由衷的話，是為了使對方感到自在舒服。而男人說謊則是為了標榜或抬高自己。

LIES, LIES, LIES

nowadays

even lie detectors

lie.

knowing human race cannot survive

with such brutal truth

as

between citizen and politician:

Vote for me.

I plan to raise your taxes

and reward my friends but in such a way,

you stupid mope,

that you’ll never figure it out.

or between husband and wife:

I was late, honey,

because I wanted a little action on the side

and, frankly,

you bore me. 

if you still have any doubt

just try and answer this lady's question:

Does this dress make me look fat?

·        According to a recent study, people, even strangers, lie to each other all the time.  After videotaping conversations between undergraduates who did not know each other,  the researcher discerned men and women both averaged about three lies per 10-minute conversation. But their reasons for lying were quite different.  Men lie to enhance their own standing while women lie to make other people feel good.
