日光圍巾 SUNSHINE SCARF

 

                              突然   Suddenly

                       冰雪呼嘯中   snow-laden boughs

                         光禿禿的   stop trembling

                                  From afar

                           停止了   chirps of birds

                       嗦嗦的抖動   can be heard

                   有鳥聲自遠而近   drawing nearer and nearer

                       龜縮的脖子   One after another we see

                           一個個   contracted necks

                                  straighten up

                                  and s-t-r-e-------t---c--h

                               

                               

 

                       我頓時知道   This must be the scarf

               就是這樣的一條圍巾   which lit up

                 在那個寒冷的冬天   Modigliani’s eyes

                     讓老莫的眼睛   and illuminated

                       迸出了火花   Paris sky

                 把巴黎灰暗的天空   that gloomy winter

                           渲染成   a riot of color

                         萬紫千紅

1.       南方友人來信說:今天我這裡風和日麗,你那邊還是冰天雪地吧,

   要不要我剪一匹陽光給你當圍巾?

2. 法國畫家莫迪阿尼(Amedeo Modigliani, 1884-1920) 以擅畫有優美頎長脖子的畫像聞名於世。

*Letter of a friend from the South: “ It’s full of sunshine here today.  I believe your place is still covered with ice and snow.  Do you want me to cut a piece of sunlight and make you a scarf?”
