總喜歡擺出

一副懸崖勒馬的姿勢

好顯示他

存亡絕續的歷史地位

馬的前蹄

因此不得不

懸空掙扎

當橫飛的箭雨

紛紛射向

牠最最柔弱的肚腹

the lofty general in bronze

always likes to maintain the posture

of reining in his horse at the edge of a cliff

just to show

his critically important position

in history

thus the horse's front hooves

are constantly up in the air

exposing its vulnerable belly

to the flying arrows

of rain
