也是一種演出  IT TOO IS A PERFORMANCE

                灰茫茫的雪地上   on the grey field of snow

                一棵光禿禿的樹   a barren tree

        擺著生硬笨拙的姿勢   in a stiff, awkward posture

        一動不動地站在那裡   motionlessly stands there

                沒有花葉的妝扮   no decoration of leaves or fruits

        沒有蟬鳴鳥語的伴奏   no accompaniment of cicadas or birds

        沒有白雲藍天的布景   no scenery setting of white clouds or blue sky

獨自在荒謬暗淡的舞台上   it appears on the darkened obscure stage alone

                                    苦苦   waiting for Godot

                            等待果陀   Godot

            作為僅有觀眾的我   as the only audience

不禁為這嚴肅認真的演出   I applaud wildly

                    熱烈鼓掌叫好   for the austere performance

                    並且答應自己   and promise myself not to leave

        絕不在幕落燈熄之前   before the curtains fall completely

                    急急離座出場   and all the lights are turned off
