感恩節戲賦洋食

黃菌青蔬饌事籌  饔飧未必八珍優
璃杯傾注葡萄酒  包餅新烘蒜子油
雜黍湯羮脂淡薄  堆盤酪麵醬香稠
今宵閑就淺醨酌  有味何須呑萬牛

【筆者依意自譯】

Yellow mushroom and green vegetable,

Ready for culinary art to make edible,

For meals do not need the eight unusual delicacies .

Wine being fully poured into goblet;

Garlic and butter freshly baked on bread.

Mixed-vegetable soup floating with layer of light, thin fat,

Piled up cheese pasta on plate with fragrant condiment.

Tonight simple food for relaxation;

With contentment and satisfaction,

One does not need to devour ten thousand oxen.
