歲月驚霜鬢,老邁失丰姿。
昏沉疲欲睡,壁爐取暖時。
冀君展詩卷,迴夢少年儀。
雙眸深邃俏,纖柔睫影垂。
歡愉優雅韻,痴迷愛者誰。
若真亦如幻,戀慕花容綏。
唯獨有某子,傾倒最心馳。
顏倩空靈妍,臉憂不稱媸。
清愁温火畔,盼汝彎身肢。
低訴逝情遠,嘆息韶光移。
繾綣衷腸事,逸去遥山追。
俊士斯人貌,群星天際隨。

When you are
old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding
by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly
read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had
once, and of their shadows deep;
How many
loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved
your beauty with love false or true,
But one man
loved the pilgrim Soul in you,
And loved the
sorrows of your changing face;
And bending
down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a
little sadly, how Love fled
And paced
upon the mountains overhead
And hid his
face amid a crowd of stars.
