午睏綿長暑氣濃，

蜻蜓上下舞河風。

鳴蟬不靜修禪靜，

南北東西茶半盅。

Practicing Zen

---For Mr.Rodney Obien

The sleepy afternoon is long & hot,

The dragonflies dance in the wind

over the river.

The cicadas clamor near and far while

I practice Zen quietly and,

with half a cup of tea, it matters not where I go.
