立 秋

——丙申立秋，暑氣漸褪，

    雲淡風輕新月夜，雁歸蛩病又一年

消磨暑氣見新秋，

雲淡風輕月似鉤。

今夜忽聞歸雁急，

蛩聲何處不添愁。

Autumn Begins

As the Summer heat dies,

Autumn arrives with its gentle zephyr,

faint white clouds，and hook-like moon.

Tonight I hear wild geese hastily flying off,

and the cricket’s chirp adds to melancholy wherever I go.
