夏 夜

——丁酉盛夏

荷風入夜流螢舞，

蛙鼓蟬眠夏月明。

偶有花蚊探齋舍，

案前端坐納涼人。

Summer Night

--High Summer,2017

Fireflies dance to the lotus flowers’night breeze.

The Summer moon sparkles over frogs beating their drums

while the cicadas sleep.

Occasionally a mosquito sneaks into my study,

    an unexpected visit while I read at the desk.
