《江城子》（中英雙語）

八年前，朋友托我给他老外媳婦翻譯成法語一首越南抒情歌 Saigon nam xua。接後也给自己寫了西（班牙）語版。五年後，2013 年，偶爾拿出来讀，覺得蠻有意思，因為也看到自己少年的影子，再加調整。寫成一首英语《詩》。这首詩我比較满意，它比原版短，没有《無病呻吟》的某部份。現在剛完成這首《江城子》，再改第三調，讓我有機會给那越南小女子一個交代。

    ●雙調

多年飄泊返無期。走天涯。獨相隨。湖畔秋風，閒理亂青絲。黄葉長衫齊起舞，人囑目，醉如痴。

古城小道夜深歸。月為媒。永相陪。海誓山盟，亂世燕分飛。歡樂憂愁誰與共，伊不在，只長思。
         

●單調

夜深人静夢鄉回。候遲歸。補寒衣。窗外惜憐，愧向故人辭。默祝此生情永固，琴瑟奏，舉齊眉。

Saigon revisited (Goodbye Thi L. )

I’m still wandering miles and miles away
And don’t know when I’ll be back again.
But in my heart, Dearest, you always rein.
In my solitary journey every day I pray
And long for the day I’ll see your smiling face
Beaming in your flowing ao dai ＊
Admired by passer-bys,
Dancing with falling golden leaves
To the Autumn symphony.

I’m still wandering miles and miles away
And don’t know when I’ll be back again.
Linger in my mind those faithful winding paths
Through the sleepy old city we took after dark,
Swearing to stay together till the end
On our way home hand in hand.
But war rages on and sets us world apart!
Merciless time has not spared
Happiness and sorrow that we've shared.
Those tender moments are gone
But memories forever hang on….

One day, like a snowbird flying back to its nest
I will return to the place I know best.
Together we will be chasing rainbows and fallen stars
listening to joyful birds sing near and far.
Let my life bath again in the sunshine
And my heart spring back with your smile.
Happy again you and I ！
