龍

中國啊中國

你是龍，千年萬年來

你睡著  睡成了一張海棠

北枕黑龍江，南踏

中國海，迂迴迤邐

橫跨過整片大陸

億萬年前

你身上，繁生過密密

的莽林，青青的勁草

尾巴蟠下一個斜坡

頭頂崛起的崢嶸

探天成泰山，落地

的鱗爪，沿流

為江河

歷年來

有人在你肩上跑馬

射擊和拍照，有人

在你的龍角上摘星

看風水，追尋遙遙千里

的一脈龍穴

中國啊中國

千年萬年來你睡著

睡成一堵萬里長城

曾經，被八面的風雨

侵襲，直至那年

你猛然甦醒

傾側，一側傾城

再側傾國

You’re dragon, for thousand, thousands of years

You’ve been sleeping, sleeping into a cherry apple leaf

Resting the head on the Amur river in north

And have planted the feet upon south China ocean

Winding and following across the whole mainland

Before countless ages, on your body

Propagating in abundance of dense woods

And the green strong grasses

The tail curling down a slop

And the head has raised eminent dignity

To search heaven as mount-T’ai

 The scale claws have falled to the ground

Foating along into lakes and rivers

For many years past, on your shoulders,

Some people have galloped

To fire a gun, and to take a photograph

Some has standed on your dragon’s horn, to pluck star,

And to practic geomancy, following along

A  remote mountain range, to trace a dragon’s den

China oh china

For countless ages, you’ve been sleeping

Then sleeping into a great wall

Which has been attacked and encroached by the storms

From every direction, until that year

You awaken suddenly, incline and overthrow

Once, overthrow the cities

Again, overthrow the states
